Today officially marks the beginning of the new fencing season. With the new season comes changes to USA Fencing and newly elected executive committee members for the South Carolina Division of USA Fencing.
The elected division officers are as follows:
- Chair: Austin Maxwell
- Vice Chair: Michael Edgecomb
- Treasurer: Annemarie LeDonne
- Secretary: CJ Maxwell
The Executive Commitee are as follows:
- Jane Littmann
- Kevin Le
- Stella Shifrin
- Ian Dube
- Isaac Nicolau
- Savana Wolf
We would like to recognize Kevin Le and Savana Wolf (Clemson University), Isaac Nicolau (Winthrop University), and Stella Shifrin as new members of the Executive Committee.
Helpful information for the new season:
- Members of USA Fencing are encouraged to update their membership for the new season. The membership renewal portal can be found here.
- Regional and National Calendars have been posted by USA Fencing, links for the regional calendar and national calendar can be found here, and here.
- A few local tournaments have been scheduled or in the process of being scheduled. The local events calendar can be accessed here.
- South Carolina bylaws are in the process of changing to fall in line with USA Fencing’s national policies. An update will be posted once the new bylaws go into effect.
