This is an update regarding our divisional qualifiers. The tournament scheduled for April 25th has been put on hold due to the current COVID-19 situation. USA Fencing will not be sanctioning any tournaments until at least May 4th, which means that our qualifiers originally scheduled for April 25th will definitely NOT be held that day.
We are waiting for additional information from the USA Fencing National Office on what will happen. There are several options being considered, including alternate qualifying paths. Assuming that Summer Nationals will still be held (and FOR THE MOMENT they are still ON), the odds appear slim that our division would be able to mount a qualifying tournament prior to the results being required for submission. We are in the same boat as most other divisions around the country which have not yet held their qualifiers.
For those of you who have already signed up and paid online for the tournament, please know that, should the qualifier tournament be cancelled, or if it is rescheduled to a time that you are not able to attend, you will receive a full refund for events and fees.
